For all your extrovert friends

My thanks to Chris at The Jury Is Out for reminding me of this video.   I love it.  Now you can send it to all of your extrovert friends and family and let it explain you to them.  How painless it that!

Look for my ongoing series debunking the introvert myths (Sunday) and introvert cartoons (Wednesday).  Join Club Introvert and check out the resources for introverts.  Come and share with like-minded introverts.

Chris also contributes to the new food blog Three’s Cooking, learning to cook from the heart, for the soul.

  1. Now LISTEN … The cooking blog is suffering because of all this introverted stuff, y’know … It’s off in a corner, crying. You better see how it is … 😉

  2. Not the total picture, though. Some introverts ARE, actually, shy, in that they lack people skills. Others avoid people because, frankly, most of them are so-o-o-o-o-o boring. Mainly, though, they don’t actually need people, while extroverts desperately do.

  3. I do need people, but being around them for more than two hours is totally exhausting to me. A few times when being with people was so overwhelming, I actually threw up afterwards.

    • I don’t think I’ve ever gotten to the point of throwing up, but I can definitely imagine it. I think the need for people will probably be my next Sunday myth blog.
Please join Club Introvert and make sure to add a comment mentioning your snails blog. It is wonderfully creative and I’m sure lots of us would enjoy it.

  4. Not to that extreme, but I feel you Carolee. I need people, but I need a small group of people that I know has my back. DFTBA!

  5. I am very much like the video. I even find it extremely exhausting to go out to a restaurant for dinner with my hubby because there is just too much “others” around – waiters/hostesses/other customers/bus personnel, etc. I find it extremely draining to have to deal with all these people & mind my manners & try not to slop on myself all at the same time!
