Here is my contribution to Share Your World for this week. (Scroll to the bottom for more info on SYW.)
Do you prefer ketchup or mustard?
Mustard, absolutely. Ketchup is an abomination. If you don’t know what it is, be thankful. You aren’t missing anything. There is actually a National Mustard Museum in Middleton, Wisconsin. I’ve never been there, but I’d like to go. There is also a line of mustard made locally, Beaver mustard, that has won a lot of awards. One of my favorites is their Cranberry Mustard was a bronze medal winner at this year’s mustard competition. National Mustard Day is celebrated the first Saturday of August each year, so we just missed this year’s celebration. I’ll put it on my calendar to remind all of you in time for next year.
If someone made a movie of your life would it be a drama, a comedy, a romantic-comedy, action film, or science fiction?
Lots of drama and pathos, with moments of hilarity.
If you could be given any gift what would it be?
Financial independence so that I could quit my day job.
For potlucks or parties do you cook it yourself, buy from a grocery store, or pay for catering?
Our favorite market is locally owned and has the best deli. I let them do the cooking for me.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am grateful for my journals. I started journalling in 2011 and have recently started to read the old ones. I’m amazed with my life, the twists it’s taken and how all the seemingly insurmountable obstacles look like little bumps to me today. In some instances I don’t even know what I was referring to, but it sure seemed important back then. It’s a good perspective on life.
I’m looking forward to a day off on Friday. I don’t know what we’ll do with it yet, but I’ll find some kind of adventure that involves Cee and our cameras, I’m sure.
Share Your World info and link: Share Your World is a weekly challenge hosted by my spouse, Cee, at her photography blog. She started Share Your World years ago when she was running a number of challenges on a photography site similar to WordPress. The majority of photographers are introverts, and they needed a way to get to know each other. You don’t have to be a photographer to participate, though. Grab the questions and give us your answers.
Hi. I’m Chris. I’m an introvert. All of my postings tend to reflect my introvert world in some way or another. Join me and like minded introverts for a special slant on the world.
