Serenity in Nature

Not being the photographer in the family, I don’t often participate in WordPress’ weekly photo challenge, but this week’s prompt of “Serenity” spoke to me.  Here are the places and scenes I think of for serenity.

    • I loved the video from Acadia. I hear it is quite beautiful there. It looks so different than the Pacific northwest where I am, 3000 or so miles away. Thanks for sharing yours. I need to get to the coast and shoot some video there. You’ve inspired me.

      • You’re welcome! That’s what I love about blogging friends is the opportunity to see and hear about different parts of the country. I was surprised how different yours looked also. It probably even sounds different! I know Lake Superior does and at one time, I could distinguish between the sounds of its waves and those of the ocean.

One thing I learned is how interested everyone is about my own little turf. Because to them, it IS different. So I’m much more diligent to share what I know. You & Cee do the same and I’ve enjoyed seeing Canby, the Pacific Ocean, and all the adventures you guys take on the weekends.

  1. I love all of these for different reasons. When I lived in SW Portland, used to go to the Hughes Water Gardens all the time for inspiration. I miss that place, and these photos took me right back to the serenity. The last photo makes me feel like swooping into the distance across the waves, but maybe that’s because I am a sailor? Thanks for the gorgeous images
