Sharing My World – Week 9

gratitude3Here is my contribution to Share Your World for this week.  (Scroll to the bottom for more info on SYW.)

How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?

Well, if I didn’t know how old I was then I wouldn’t have any measure to guess by, I suppose.  I would know that I wasn’t a child or a teenager, or an old person.  I think I’d guess around 45.

Are you left or right handed?

Right, although I mouse and do some things left handed.

If you HAD to change your name, what would you change it to?

I don’t want to change my name.  I like it just the way it is, thank you very much.

Where do you hide junk when people come over?

Well, that’s a good question.  We usually don’t have junk to hide.  It’s more the dust and animal fur that are the issue with us.  We need a Star Trek kind of house that would just vacuum itself periodically.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I had a fabulous class through work that gave me a lot of new ideas.  I’m also grateful for a new book on mindfulness that gives me new ideas of gratitude that I’m going to work into tomorrow’s blog.  What am I looking forward to?  Reading more, writing, finding more things to be grateful for.

Share Your World info and link:  Share Your World is a weekly challenge hosted by my spouse, Cee, at her photography blog. She started Share Your World years ago when she was running a number of challenges on a photography site similar to WordPress.  The majority of photographers are introverts, and they needed a way to get to know each other.  You don’t have to be a photographer to participate, though.  Grab the questions and give us your answers.

Hi.  I’m Chris.  I’m an introvert.  All of my postings tend to reflect my introvert world in some way or another.  Join me and like minded introverts for a special slant on the world.

  1. Interesting that I never wondered if you were right or left handed. But, being left handed, I assume almost everybody else is right handed.

And did you know I’m right eyed? In that I shoot a gun and a bow right handed, while writing and throwing left? And play guitar right. Though I’ve not been successful at playing.

And, whatever you are, I love you, Sis.

  2. Just tried my mouse left-handed. It squeaked indignantly and tried to bite me. Strange, actually, that in that particular you are more comfortable with the left.
