I’m Back!

Hi.  I’m back.  Did you miss me?  I know some of you have because I’d hear from you when I did guest posts on Cee’s blog.  I’ve been on a journey to find myself.  Not a bad activity to take up in my 63rd year.  I’m still not sure of what I want to be when I grow up, but I know how I’m getting there.  That’s a nice change!

It’s been a wild and crazy sabbatical at times.  I still had to stick around for my day job so I could pay the bills.  That was a bummer.  I would have loved a paid sabbatical, but living in the “real world” has it’s advantages, too.

I can’t wait to share with you all the things I learned along the way, plus any funny incidents, intriguing stories and titillating trivia I collected on my journey.  So look for regular blogs from me again.

It will be nice catching up with you.  How has your year been going?  What changes have come your way?  Any new insights to share?

  1. Yes, of course I have missed you – but we all need time away sometimes. I have found that for me, deciding what to be when I grow up is difficult because it seems to change from time to time. What sounds good this month might not be the best next month, you know?

  2. Welcome back! I recently returned, too. I’ve been on a rollercoaster of emotions this past year as I went through a divorce. I’ve had to rediscover who I am and who I want to be now. I’m thinking of myself as a “project” and am actually having some fun with it. Hope you are, too.

    • Ugh! Sorry for your loss. Changing a relationship like that can be a real bumpy ride. I don’t know if I see myself as a project. I’m not sure of how to describe it, but I’ll try in upcoming posts.
