Narrow in the sky and on the ground

Here are my contributions to the WordPress Photo Challenge:  Narrow Challenge.

First is a vintage WWII B-24 bomber, the Audre.  She could carry up to 8,000 pounds of ordinance in each of two bomb bays.  That’s an awfully narrow fuselage for a heavy bomber.

Next is a narrow walkway between two flower beds filled with water lilies and lotus flowers.  I wish you could go inside this hot house with us because the beauty is incredible.

  2. I so enjoyed catching up with your blog tonight. I love that you chose two such very different photos. I love what Georgia OKeefe said about flowers as subjects: I hate flowers – I paint them because they’re cheaper than models and they don’t move. I don’t believe that she hated them really. 🙂
