It’s time for Cee’s Share Your World Week 41. How did it get this late in the year? Here are my answers.
Do you believe in love at first sight?
Absolutely. It happened to me with Cee.
Your first car?
A 1974 Plymouth Gold Duster. I bought it when I was a PFC in the Army, like so many young people do. I splurged and got the AM/FM radio (FM was still pretty new in those days) and wall to wall carpeting (a true luxury). I also got the fancy vinyl roof and the bucket seats in front. That was a great car. Comfy to drive and could hold all my worldly possessions. It made moving around in the Army much easier. (I got the picture off the Internet.)
Who taught you to ride a bike? How did it go?
My dad, and pretty well. Our driveway was gravel and I ended up with a certain amount of it in the palms of my hands and knees, but I finally got the hang of it.
Ugly and rich or beautiful and poor?
None of the above. I like me just like I am.
What was the first dish you could cook?
I honestly don’t remember. I think there might have been an Easy Bake Oven involved, which came out in 1963, but I wouldn’t swear to it.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Last week was a busy one at work, but I’m grateful that I was able to relax through it. I’m grateful for a ton of new ideas that are coming to me these days. I look forward to sharing all of them with you.
