It’s time for Cee’s Share Your World Week 43.
What are you really glad you did yesterday?
I am really enjoying working through the photography classes on Great Courses that we’re taking through our Amazon Prime membership. I can’t wait to try the assignments out with my new camera.
Would you prefer a one floor house or multiple levels?
One floor. I’m not all that fond of stairs.
Have you done something you truly want to do today?
Yes, putting up this Share Your World post. I want to get some qigong done today, too.
What plans did you have as a teenager that didn’t happen? Are you happy it didn’t work out that way?
I grew up in a highly dysfunctional household, so my plans as a teenager didn’t really exist. I figured I’d be dead before I was 30. Fortunately, my life turned around and now I’m almost 64 and looking forward to making it to 85 or 90 or beyond. I’ve been having a fabulous life, and just want more and Imore of it.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Last week we had a great time picking out a steel drum that is also an art piece. We love the sound of it. We’re picking up the stand for it tomorrow and then we’ll post some pictures. The drum and the stand were created by a local artist, Ben Dye. We’ll write more about him, too. I’m looking forward to my new camera, a Sony mirrorless A6000 with a 16mm – 50mm power zoom lens. My extra batteries came today, so they are all charged up. I also bought a nice sling pack for my new gear. I’m ready!
For those wanting more information on the photography classes available through the Great Courses, it’s an add on channel through your Amazon Prime membership: https://www.amazon.com/b/ref=atv_hm_hom_5_slct?_encoding=UTF8&filterId=OFFER_FILTER%3DSUBSCRIPTIONS&node=2858778011
Amazon Prime gives you access to a lot of different channels, each with a monthly subscription rate. The Great Courses is $7.99 a month, and can be discontinued at any time. You can take as many classes as you want during that time. There are three great photography classes that Cee and I can recommend.
