I was out at a rest stop on Interstate 5, not far from my home in Oregon, and I thought I’d share some photographs I took there. It was a cloudy, rainy day, but I still found some interesting things to shoot at the French Prairie rest area. I thought I’d add them to Aisha’s Where’s My Backpack forest challenge.
These are some relatively young Douglas Fir trees. I was glad the woman came walking into my frame. She’s helping show the size of these trees. We grow them big out here!
