I Trust You

I know I shared this on my facebook page, but I wanted to share this here as well.  I think this is an incredible experiment in reaching out across our differences to trust each other.

Karim Sulayman is an Arab-American tenor from Chicago. Ten days after the 2016 U.S. presidential election, Sulayman teamed up with filmmaker Meredith Kaufman Younger to perform a trust experiment. Watch this silent video (set to Sulayman singing Sinead O’Connor’s “In this Heart”) as Sulayman stands blindfolded outside Trump International Hotel in Central Park West in New York City and asks strangers to trust him.

  1. I love this post. I’ve seen this video before and I cry every time I see it. Thank you for posting it again here so that I could experience it again. We have to trust that people will not let our beautiful world fall apart. Happy 2017. Carol
