Women’s March

My heart is with all my sisters and brothers who are marching today in Portland, Oregon, in Washington DC and so many other cities across this nation, in a movement to unify and empower everyone who stands for women’s rights, human rights, immigrant rights, civil liberties, and social justice for all.

May everyone be safe and remember to speak out in the ways that Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King and Gandhi taught us.

Our nation is deeply troubled, with a future that is uncertain.  What we do and say in the coming months and years will have ripple effects all around the world.  Let us all look deep inside our souls and find the compassion, tolerance, sense of inclusion, and empathy that we need to heal ourselves and our wonderful country.
