Share Your World – 20 Feb 2017

img_1479Here are my answers to Cee’s Share Your World for this week:

When you cut something with scissors, do you move your jaw (as if you were about to chew)?  No, but I used to do it when I was drawing.  I read somewhere that chewing on your tongue (or moving your jaw) helped the brain focus.  I don’t think I do it any more, though.

Do you chew your pens and pencils?  No, never.  I respect my tools too much to do that.

Are you a collector of anything? If so what?  I used to be, but I’ve really given that up.  It made my life too cluttered.  I like things simpler now, although it was fun to be on the prowl for that new thing to add to the collection, I have to admit.

What size is your bed?  King size, out of self defense.  The dog and cats take up so much room there wouldn’t be space for the humans otherwise.

Optional Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I’m grateful for a four day weekend.  I needed a little break.

I’m looking forward to an end to the rain.  It is now officially the wettest February on record with 10.05″, which is 7.3″ ABOVE the norm.  We start measuring our rainfall in October (our water year starts then) and we have had 34″, which is 12″ above the average for this time of year.  Even for an Oregonian it’s a lot of water.

  1. I don’t chew pens or pencils either.
Glad you got a chance to recharge during the weekend. I need to copy these questions and get cracking on them myself – just need to finish a few small projects around the house. Regards to all 🙂
